What Is Feed The City?

Dallas-based mobile app, TangoTab launched the first Feed The City event in January 2015. Feed The City is a community event that brings together people of all different ages and backgrounds to help feed their fellow neighbors. The flagship event started in Dallas as a sandwich making event. When people would gather, they would put together thousands of meals for people in need that would go to a local food charity. Today, the event has expanded into multiple cities and into different versions. There are now pop-up Feed The City breakfast editions that make breakfast tacos, partnerships with corporations, churches, temples, schools and more. We are even starting Farm The City events to get people involved in working with fresh produce at urban farms.
